Partly Facetious: Another round of reorganisation

"Oh no, not another reorganization."
"What in the world is being reorganised now? And why are you so upset about reorganisation? Surely it presages change for the better?"
"Chaudhry is thinking of reorganising the PML Lota group yet again!"
"That doesn't mean that new Lotas will be inducted and/or the old ones dismissed because their expectations for shall we say benefits rose sky high and the government is getting two new Lotas for the price of one existing Lota."
"Don't be facetious. Besides, when else has there been a reorganisation of the Lota party! I am sick and tired of seeing the party the Quaid established sinking so low that, at a drop of a hat, it supports the strongman, invariably the military man, and proceeds to dump their erstwhile civilian leaders. That is not to say that the civilians don't need to be dumped. What we really need is a system in place, not personalities, which would take care of any so called poodles in the long run, if you know what I mean."

"Yes."
"Well, I agree about him, when he leaves the system will survive him, but you are wrong about your analysis about the reorganisation of the Lota party. This time the Chaudhry wants to reorganise it in an effort to ensure that the party's mass contact campaign would be made more effective so as to accelerate the pace of its re-organisation."
"What does that mean?"
"Don't really know. I guess the focus is on the grass roots support."
"I guess 'cause after all he did urge the provincial leadership of the PML to give priority to the proposals and suggestions by the party workers in the reorganisation process."
"I still don't know what it means. Let's be honest: the people the party is trying to please are not the grass roots supporters. I mean we all know that."
"But the ones they are really trying to please actually think that the Lotas can deliver the votes. Besides, you can't deny that they did win the votes."
"I don't think so. They merely used the existing system to get elected."
